create themes for the ipod touch
summerboard themes are pretty easy to make if you follow these instructions:
all summerboard themes reside here on the ipod:
/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes/
you have a folder per theme in there, with the following structure:
ThemeName/StatusBar.png - status bar image (optional, 320×20 PNG, alpha)
ThemeName/Wallpaper.png - the wallpaper (320×480 PNG, no alpha)
ThemeName/Dock.png - the dock image for the large dock (320×91 PNG, […]
installing NES rom’s on the ipod touch
i used cyberduck ftp for this…
1. ssh into your ipod via cyberduck
2. navigate to: /var/root/Media
3. make a folder in Media called ROMs
4. inside the ROMs folder make another folder called NES
5. upload your NES ROMs into the NES folder

1. tap the installer.app
2. tap games
3. tap NES
4. tap install
5. reboot ipod

sometimes you will need to change the permissions on the touch… this is how you do it.
1. ssh into your ipod touch w/ terminal / putty etc…
ssh root@youripodsipaddress
enter your password
2. then type the following:
chmod -R a+x /Applications/*
