customize the slider text on the ipod touch

to change the ’slider text’ download this file:
download: http://rapidshare.com/files/62428859/SpringBoard.strings.html

and search for “slide to unlock” replace it with anything up to 15 characters. once that is done simply put it to /System/Libary/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/SpringBoard.strings.

While your in the file, you can also change
sync in progress
slide to cancel
slide to power off

super easy to change, and you can change them whenever you want.

can you change slider text if you use summerboard instead of springboard? I also use winscp to access files on my touch, is that pk?

winscp is fine. springboard is part of the os for the touch and iphone. summerboard is basically an extension “for’ springboard.
