1. press & hold the power button until the red slider bar appears
2. move the slider bar all the way to the right
3. wait for the ipod to turn off
4. press the power button again

my ipod says (ipod is disabled connect to itunes). When i connect to itunes it says that the apple mobile device service is not started.
HELP!!
what version of itunes are you using?
