flickr: photo sharing site

im sure most of you have heard of flickr, the photo sharing website that Yahoo acquired. well this is one of my flickr accounts [i currently have two pro accounts]. i have to say i really love flickr! if you haven’t yet created an account there… you should [at least signup for a free one]. its a great way to share photos with the public, you can also designate certain images to be viewed by friends and/or family. you can also mark images as private only, meaning only you can see them.
often when i am bored, i just jump on flickr for a bit and search for a specific keyword[s]. in fact i just recently was exploring ireland via flickr. the site allows you to upload unlimited images [up to] 10mb each, with unlimited views [if you have a pro account]. free accounts do have lower limits, but unless you are just a voyeur - its worth the $20 or so to get the pro account, think of it as a nice way to backup your important/favorite images.
