I tried this method (and the one the202 says) but using "12 px" of "Lucida Grande" or "Lucida Console" still looks a lot bolder in Firefox for Mac than on Firefox for PC or Safari. I used a Font-Squirrel generated font as well, this also looks way too bold.

Hi Pamela,

You are correct. Squaready is not great to use for printing from, as it is in fact cropping the image down. Here is what you can do to make life easy.

1. Shoot you photos in either the Native camera app, Camera+ or any other Camera app.
2. Save the image to your camera roll. This effectively will be your original full-sized image.
3. Import a copy of the original into Squaready. This is the the image you will send to IG.
4. When printing postcards use the original image you saved.

This way you use the original to be used to send to the printer service. Your images will be much cleaner this way.

Hope that helps!

I have had problems with any jpg that was "Squaready"ed. I like to make post cards from photos. Several times my son has taken a photo for me using this app. Then when I attempt to print it out as a postcard - It always fails. Part of the photo is cut off, or off to one side or the other depending on the original photo orientation. So anytime I find a picture I would like to turn into a postcard; I know a "Squaready" picture will not work. BUT, for all other uses I do like the app. Just not postcards.

This worked for me but only after a slight variation after step 9.

1. Quit Firefox
2. Open your Applications Folder
3. Open Font Book
4. Find "Lucida Grande"
5. Right Click on "Lucida Grande"
6. Select "Reveal in Finder" from the menu
7. A new window will pop open, and "Lucida Grande" should be selected
8. Delete "Lucida Grande" (please note you will have to enter your password to delete it)
9. OSX will then restore the font like new (no worries, you do not have to back it up first)
----------------------------------
10. Close everything. Restart.
11. Empty Trash
12. Start Firefox

For reasons I don't understand, the original method did not work for me but my sequence did.

Will have to try that ink one day. Last time I checked my local Staples, they had Quink (black) and Montblanc (also black) and that was pretty much it for FP inks. :/

That form you used--did you make that yourself or is it from a template you downloaded somewhere?

This ongoing and vexing problem with Address Book is causing me to seriously consider at a PC. The BB of Death hits me square in the face 50 times a day! Apple's continuing refusal to even acknowledge the problem is the main reason I don't trust Apple as I once did; not enought to pay the huge price difference.
