this was a really easy and fast mod. i took my garage door opener and pulled the leads off the push switch on the clicker, and soldered them to a momentary push button switch [i had to solder some longer wire leads so it could reach the new push button]. i then drilled a hole in one of the switch blanks. lastly i just tightened the switch in the blank. and presto all done.
