I found an awesome hack for Terminal in OS X. Its called Visor, its a quake style terminal for OS X. Terminal is your friend, never forget that. It took me a relatively short period of time to figure that out. I really enjoy using Visor since it makes terminal easily accessible - and it looks darn cool too!
How to Install Terminal Hack Visor for OSX
1. Install SIMBL
2. Download Visor - This is a updated form based off of Blacktree / Alcor
3. Extract Visor
4. Place the Visor.bundle in ~/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins
5. Relaunch Terminal - You should now see the Visor menu item icon
6. Configure your keyboard trigger by selecting the Visor menu item -> preferences and editing your keyboard hot-key.
You can now trigger Visor with your hotkey from any application to get an instant terminal session.
